Aloha and Las Brisas on the map
For this directory, Aloha and Las Brisas covers the residential micro-markets around Aloha Golf, Real Club de Golf Las Brisas and Los Naranjos Golf, together with El Ángel, Aloha College, Los Naranjos de Marbella and the practical Lago de las Tortugas setting. The property search is deliberately limited to the existing Resales locations Aloha and Las Brisas; Los Naranjos is important editorial and market context but is not a separate selectable feed location in this profile.
This is the central Golf Valley rather than all of Nueva Andalucía. La Campana, Guadaiza, Rodeo Alto, La Alzambra and Centro Plaza remain in the parent Nueva Andalucía profile. Puerto Banús is a separate marina-and-beach profile. La Quinta and Real de La Quinta are treated with Benahavís and should not be folded into this profile merely because an advert uses the wider golf-valley label.
Aloha has the strongest mixed residential and social identity, with apartment and townhouse communities, detached villas, the school and small hospitality clusters. Las Brisas is more villa-led and private-club oriented. Los Naranjos combines substantial villa streets with established apartment communities and the clearest publicly bookable visitor golf. Across all three, low-density greenery is a major attraction, but hills, fragmented roads and large course perimeters make daily life much more car-dependent than straight-line distances suggest.
Golf frontage is not a uniform premium. Orientation, actual view corridor, early course operations, irrigation, maintenance access, stray-ball exposure, clubhouse or event noise and the legal protection of a view all require property-specific inspection.
Everyday life
Schools, shopping and local amenities
Schools and education
- Aloha College Marbella — inside El Ángel and one of the profile's defining practical assets. The school publishes education from ages 3 to 18, an English-based curriculum followed by IGCSE, and a sixth-form choice of the IB Diploma or A-Levels. Admission is not automatic: the current process includes an application, age-dependent assessment and reservation steps, and fees and transport routes must be checked directly.
- Colegio Diocesano Francisco Echamendi — at Camino del Ángel 14. Fundación Victoria presents the school as a concertado centre covering the second cycle of Infantil, Primary and Secondary, with a related first-cycle infant centre. Annual Andalusian admissions, address scoring, vacancies and any service charges must be confirmed.
- Public-school provision — the relevant public primary and secondary references may lie in wider Nueva Andalucía, including CEIP José Banús and IES Nueva Andalucía. Assignment depends on the exact registered address and the annual Junta de Andalucía process; the district name or a short driving distance does not guarantee a place.
- Other international options — Laude San Pedro, Swans and further Marbella schools require a road journey and separate admissions.
- Buyer note: test the exact school run at drop-off time. Course perimeters, roundabouts and limited through-routes can make a geographically close school slower to reach than expected.
Shopping, restaurants and markets
- Aloha and El Ángel — small local clusters provide cafés, restaurants and selected convenience or personal services, with Aloha Social Club adding an all-day social and food destination. Operators and hours change, and the area should not be assumed to provide a complete walkable high street.
- Los Naranjos de Marbella — established residential communities have local hospitality and service pockets. Hacienda Los Naranjos at the golf club currently publishes daily restaurant opening, but a golf-club restaurant is not a substitute for routine neighbourhood shopping.
- Wider Nueva Andalucía — La Campana, Centro Plaza and the lower district provide the broader supermarket, pharmacy, banking and practical-service choice and are treated in the parent profile. Puerto Banús adds department-store and luxury retail.
- Daily-life distinction — a few homes can walk to a local cluster, school or club, but most households drive for a full grocery shop and multiple errands. Check gradients, shade, pavement continuity and the route around course boundaries rather than relying on map distance.
Healthcare
- Centro de Salud Nueva Andalucía — the principal public primary-care reference for much of the wider district. The enlarged centre opened in March 2026 with 19 consultation rooms and family medicine, nursing, paediatrics, sample extraction and triage. Assignment and appointments depend on the registered address and current SAS procedures.
- HC Marbella International Hospital — private general hospital on Calle Ventura del Mar near Puerto Banús, reached by road. Its official location page publishes a 24-hour contact; insurance cover and the correct emergency pathway should be checked directly.
- Hospital Quirónsalud Marbella — private hospital in Marbella Centre with 24-hour adult, paediatric and obstetric-gynaecological emergency care.
- Hospital Universitario Costa del Sol — the public specialist and referral hospital east of Marbella, reached along the A-7. Traffic can materially affect the journey.
- Pharmacies, dental practices, physiotherapy and private clinics are available in wider Nueva Andalucía and Puerto Banús rather than evenly inside the golf-residential core. Verify the nearest on-call pharmacy, step-free access and insurer acceptance for the exact property.
Connections and distances
- Walking — useful local walking exists around parts of Aloha, El Ángel and Los Naranjos de Marbella, but the profile as a whole is car-dependent. Hills, heat, course perimeters, cul-de-sacs, incomplete pavements and fast local traffic frequently interrupt otherwise short routes.
- Urban buses — Marbella's network serves Nueva Andalucía, with the most useful access on principal roads around Aloha and El Ángel. Stops and frequencies are much less convenient for course-edge villas and upper gated streets; check the current Avanza route, stop side, last service and safe walking connection for the exact property.
- Puerto Banús — commonly about 5–15 minutes by car outside peak traffic. Marbella Centre is commonly about 15–25 minutes and San Pedro de Alcántara about 10–20 minutes. School, summer, Saturday-market and A-7 traffic can materially lengthen each journey.
- Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport — approximately 60–65 km by road and commonly about 45–65 minutes outside heavy traffic. Aena's direct coach serves Marbella bus station, requiring a taxi, car or local connection to Golf Valley.
- Gibraltar Airport — approximately 65–70 km and commonly about 60–80 minutes plus border and peak delay.
- There is no railway station in Marbella. Rail journeys require a road transfer, commonly to Fuengirola or Málaga.
- Driving and parking — a car is strongly recommended. Confirm garage width and gradient, turning space, deeded parking, visitor spaces, gate queues, EV-charging permission and whether refuse, delivery and school traffic affect the street. Steep plots also require careful drainage, retaining-wall and access review.
Beaches, marina and culture
- Lago de las Tortugas — a historic reservoir and wooded wetland setting on the upper side of Nueva Andalucía. Marbella tourism describes Mediterranean vegetation, birdlife and local recreation; it is a natural public environment rather than a managed resort park, so surface, water-edge safety, fire risk and conditions after rain require judgement.
- Nature route — Marbella's 2025/26 municipal nature programme included an easy 5.6 km Puerta Verde–Lago de las Tortugas outing, confirming the area's practical walking context. The organised programme date is not a permanent guided service; independent users must assess the current route.
- Golf-club dining and social life — clubhouses and restaurants create attractive daytime destinations, but public restaurant access does not imply access to the course, gym, pool or members' areas. Events and opening arrangements should be checked directly.
- Puerto Banús, Golden Mile and beaches — the marina, beach clubs, restaurants and coastal promenade are reached by car and belong to separate profiles. There is no beach inside the Golf Valley profile.
- Buyer note: greenery and apparent tranquillity vary by street. Visit during early course maintenance, school arrival, evening dining and a weekend event before relying on a single quiet viewing.
Sport and leisure
- Access rule — only facilities where an ordinary external customer can buy a membership, pass, class, court, lesson or normal visitor round are recommended. Resident-only urbanisation gyms and pools, hotel-guest-only facilities, school facilities, invitation-only club amenities and patient-only rehabilitation centres are excluded.
- Los Naranjos Padel — the strongest verified public-access sport complex inside the profile. Its current site offers booking through Playtomic and lists 18 padel courts, including covered, outdoor, show and singles courts, plus two pickleball courts and a gym. Published memberships include morning access at €240 per month and premium access at €350 per month; current court, class and membership terms must be checked when booking.
- Aloha Social Club — at Calle París 1 and expressly presented as open to everyone rather than a members-only club. Its current site offers publicly bookable yoga, mobility, tennis and padel alongside food and social space. Current class, coaching and court prices should be confirmed because no stable tariff was relied on for this profile. The separate Aloha Tennis & Padel booking portal also exposes court booking and open-match functions at the Calle París / Parcelas del Golf location.
- Manolo Santana Racquets Club — a practical commercial option on the eastern edge of the wider Golf Valley setting rather than in the tight Aloha/Las Brisas core. It lists tennis, padel, a Technogym fitness facility and a 25 m seasonal outdoor pool. The current store publishes gym memberships from one week to one year; its 2026 swimming page sells non-member pool access and a pool-plus-racquets/gym pass during the stated 15 June–30 September season. Reconfirm the exact access bundle and travel time.
- Swimming — no municipal lap pool was verified inside the tight profile. Manolo Santana's seasonal 25 m pool is the clearest nearby ordinary paid-access option. Communal residential pools are private resident amenities and golf-club pools are not public unless the operator expressly says otherwise. The seasonal municipal Guadaiza pool belongs to the parent Nueva Andalucía profile.
- Los Naranjos Golf — the clearest normal visitor-golf option. The official 2026 page provides online visitor booking and seasonal 9-hole, 18-hole and twilight tariffs; the reviewed tariff ranged from €145 including buggy for 18 holes in part of summer to €177 in a published high-season period. Prices and availability are time-sensitive and should be checked for the exact date.
- Real Club de Golf Las Brisas — a private members' club. Its rules state that guests must play in the company of a member, with guest-number and annual-play limits. This must not be presented as ordinary public tee-time access. The 2026 membership notice also refers to a share and entry fee in addition to the annual subscription.
- Aloha Golf — a private members' club. Its health-club page expressly reserves the gym, treatment, sauna, pool and related facilities for Aloha Golf Club members, so it is not listed as a public gym. Public visitor golf was not sufficiently established from a current first-party tariff; prospective players should confirm member-guest or event access directly.
- PG by Magna Marbella Golf — a public 9-hole course and academy in wider Golf Valley. Its current course page publishes €32 for an adult 9-hole round and €55 for a day ticket, plus equipment and buggy prices. It is a useful paid-access alternative but should not be confused with one of the three principal championship clubs.
- The Range Marbella — publicly accessible practice and coaching near Aloha College. Its current site publishes adult private lessons from €65 per hour and practice technology; confirm current opening and ball or session charges.
- Outdoor exercise — Lago de las Tortugas provides the most distinctive local nature walk. Hillier residential roads offer demanding running gradients, but pavement continuity, lighting and traffic vary. Cycling is route-specific and busy roundabouts require care. The renewed El Ángel multi-sport court adds local public sport, subject to current access and programming.

- The Golf Valley label covers several different micro-markets and is not a substitute for a street-level comparison
- Most homes require a car for groceries, healthcare, beaches and wider services
- Hills, course boundaries and incomplete pavements reduce practical walkability
- Aloha, Las Brisas and Los Naranjos have materially different golf-access rules
- Aloha Golf health-club facilities are members-only, and Las Brisas golf guests require a member host
- Communal gyms, pools and gardens are resident amenities unless rules expressly allow outside access
- Frontline-golf homes require checks for early maintenance, irrigation, machinery, ball exposure, privacy and view protection
- Clubhouse, restaurant, school and event traffic or noise can affect particular streets
- Mature communities vary in lifts, parking, insulation, accessibility, reserve funds and major-works history
- Villa plots require planning, title, drainage, retaining-wall, pool and extension checks
- Community and club costs can be substantial and are separate from ordinary ownership expenses
- Short-term letting requires current Andalusian registration, municipal compliance, a unique rental number and express community approval where applicable
- These notes do not replace independent legal advice.
